While our current home is in Harpswell, the roots of Place Painting trace back to Salt Lake City, Utah, where owner Alex Rodway founded the company in 2018. Originally from Rangeley, Maine, Alex’s journey in the painting industry began in his youth, spending summers learning the craft alongside his family. A passion for winter sports led him to Utah, where he continued to pursue painting as a way to support himself while enjoying the great outdoors. With over 10 years of experience as a painter and more than 7 years of running his own business, Alex has honed his skills in both residential and commercial painting, developing a reputation for high-quality work and exceptional customer service.
